It is always my sincere goal to provide the best possible BYA Experience to you as my client. I have the utmost respect for your time and value your commitment to the unapologetic self-care you deserve. In an effort to ensure fairness and professionalism, both for you and other clients eager to book Experiences. The following policies have been adopted:

 

 

EXPERIENCE DEPOSITS:

 

All Be Your After Experiences require a non-refundable deposit and a valid credit or e-gift card on file to confirm a reservation. This deposit is applied to your overall total and is due at session confirmation. Deposit amounts are as follows:

 

Stretch Experiences: $25

Massage Experiences: $50

Last Minute Experiences: 100%

Promotional Experiences: 100%

Collective Experiences: 50% 

 

Accepted Payment Forms Include:

Cash, Venmo, Zelle, E-Gift Cards, Apple Pay, FSA/HSA, Major Credit Cards

 

ARRIVAL: 

 

Please be mindful when choosing an Experience time that you should arrive no more than 10 minutes prior to your scheduled start time. This will ensure a smooth transition between clients and that you have time to use the restroom, discuss any concerns you may have, undress to your comfort if applicable, and get onto the table. Early arrival allows for a relaxed and unhurried Experience. 

 

LATE ARRIVAL:

 

Your Experience times are reserved exclusively for you and it is understandable that unanticipated events occur in everyone’s life. Unforeseen events such as car problems, business meetings and children’s illnesses, are just a few reasons why you may be running late for your Experience. 

 

Late arrivals unfortunately cannot receive an extension and will still conclude at their originally scheduled time.

 

Experiences are automatically canceled at 15 minutes after the scheduled start time and are considered a No Call/No Show. Failure to give notice of any kind will result in immediate loss of BYA booking access indefinitely. 

 

RESCHEDULING:

 

When appointments are rescheduled with short notice, it can impact the therapist's schedule and potentially prevent others from accessing much-needed care. As Be Your After operates "By Appointment Only," your therapist often travels to the office specifically for your session.

 

To ensure a smooth and respectful Experience for all, we kindly ask for at least 48 hours' notice when rescheduling your appointment. 

 

This allows us to offer the time slot to another client and minimize disruptions to the therapist's schedule.

 

• An Experience can only be rescheduled ONCE with at least 48 hours written notice 

 

• An Experience deposit, prepayment or e-gift card can only be applied to a new Experience of equal or greater value. 

 

• An Experience can only be rescheduled within 30 days of the original appointment date and once rescheduled, per member request, cannot be changed again for any reason. 

 

• Experiences are rescheduled subject to availability.

 

• In the event of a member initiating a second schedule change request the Experience deposit, prepayment or e-gift card will be forfeit regardless of notice and a new deposit will be required to lock in a new session time.  

 

•  Requests to reschedule any eligible Experience must be made via text to (980)214-4868 to at least forty eight (48) hours prior to the scheduled Experience to avoid a late notification fee equivalent to the full Experience cost*. 

 

• Your written rescheduling request will be honored based on the original time received, however, please allow up to 24 business hours for a response. 

 

 

*Please note that Collective, Promotional and Last Minute Experiences cannot be rescheduled.

 

EXPERIENCE CANCELATION:

 

Your Experience times are reserved exclusively for you. When you miss an Experience, not only is your business lost, but also the potential business of other clients who could have scheduled an appointment for the same time. Additionally, Be Your After operates “By Appointment Only”  so many times the therapist has traveled to the office specifically for your Experience. For these reasons, the therapist must be compensated even when you are unable to keep your appointment.

 

Cancelation Fees are as Follows:

 

More than 48 Hours Notice: $0, 30 days to reschedule ONCE

Less than 48 Hours Notice: 100%*

No Call No Show: 100%*

*including any prepaid gratuity

 

*Please note that Collective, Promotional and Last Minute Experiences cannot be rescheduled.

 

RECURRING EXPERIENCES:

 

Please be mindful when opting into a recurring Experience that not only are you committing to the unapologetic self-care you deserve, you are also committing to your therapist that you will consistently show up for your appointment.

 

By definition standing appointments are “your time” and tend to be difficult to rebook in the event that you need to cancel or reschedule. As such, please provide as much notice as possible, 48 hours minimum, of any cancelation or rescheduling requests to provide your therapist an opportunity to fill the slot in your absence.   

 

Please be aware that two consecutive schedule change requests, either canceling or rescheduling, for any recurring Experience will result in forfeiture of standing appointment and preferential booking status. 

 

TABLE TIME:

 

BYA Massage Experiences will not exceed 55 or 85 minutes respectively, contingent upon a punctual start time. Slightly abbreviating your Experience allows for ample time to discuss necessary after care, address any client concerns or questions, and schedule your next appointment without encroaching on the next client’s Experience time.  

 

GUESTS:

 

Due to limited space and to ensure that you are able to reap the maximum benefits and recuperative effects of your unplugged BYA Experience guests are not permitted. 

 

• A parent or guardian is permitted to accompany minor clients (15-17 years old) per North Carolina state law.  

 

 

 

PROMOTIONAL, LAST MINUTE AND COLLECTIVE EXPERIENCES:

 

 Please note that due to discounted pricing and/or limited notice prior to appointment start time Promotional, Last Minute and Collective Experiences cannot be rescheduled or canceled.
